Texas-Style Beef Brisket



Brisket is a beef cut and in Brazil it is known as bovine breast. It's very traditional on US barbecue grills, especially in Texas. It's a cut that needs a little patience in the preparation as it requires more cooking time to become tender but it's worth every minute of waiting, it's delicious.

INGREDIENTS

1.1 kilo of beef breast

2. Sweet paprika 1 tablespoon

3. Oregano 1 teaspoon

4. Mustard 1 scoop (dessert)

5. Dehydrated garlic 1 teaspoon

6. White Vinegar 2 tablespoons

7. Brown sugar 3 tablespoons

8. Ketchup 2 scoops (dessert)

9. Salt 1 teaspoon

10. English sauce 2 tablespoons


HOW TO MAKE

1. Rub all seasonings into meat well.

2. Wrap the meat in aluminum foil, along with the seasonings. Leave tightly closed.

3. Place this package inside a baking dish, and bake for about 3:30h at 160ºC, in a pre-heated oven.

4. Let the meat rest for at least 15 minutes after taking it out of the oven to maintain its juiciness.
