How To Make Pizza


 Mamma mia! How about a pizza for tonight? This dish, often associated with Italians, is a tremendous success in Brazil. Like other dishes of foreign origin, the pizza was so “Brazilian” that it is very common to see different flavors from the original, such as Portuguese, chicken with catupiry or cheddar and even stroganoff. But if eating out is already tasty, imagine making the dough and choosing the ingredients at home!



Ingredients

1. 6 cups of wheat flour

2. 2 teaspoons of sugar

3. 2 teaspoons of salt

4. 41/4 cup of oil

5. 2 ½ cups of warm water

6. 2 tablespoons of dry biological yeast

7. 1 box of sauce or tomato paste

8. stuffing to taste


Method of preparation

1. Mix yeast and sugar in a bowl;

2. Add warm water little by little and mix slowly;

3. When dissolved, set aside at room temperature;

4. On a smooth, clean surface, mix the flour and salt;

5. Make a hole in the center and add the mixture with the yeast;

6. Add oil and mix well;

7. Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your fingers;

8. Cover with a towel and let the dough rest for approximately 1 hour or until it doubles in size;

9. Divide the dough into 4 parts, select one of them, cover the rest with the towel and set aside to bake at other times;

10. Place the dough on a floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out, forming a circle 12 inches in diameter;

11. Assemble the pizza with the flavors of your choice (shredded chicken, tuna, corn, mozzarella, etc.), first spreading the sauce or tomato paste;

12. Place in a preheated oven and bake over medium heat until the dough turns golden;

13. Serve!
